KEEPING OUR PETS WELL IS VERY IMPORTANT AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME.  YOU CAN ACCESS ALL YOUR VITAL PET CARE AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS AS USUAL.  PLEASE ENSURE YOU FOLLOW THE GOVERNMENT’S STRICT SOCIAL DISTANCING ADVICE GUIDELINE.

IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS SUCH AS COUGH, FEVER OR SHORTNESS OF BREATH, HAVE BEEN DIRECTED BY GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES TO SELF-ISOLATE, ARE WAITING COVID-19 TEST RESULTS OR HAVE BEEN IN CLOSE CONTACT WITH ANYONE WHO HAS, PLEASE INFORM OUR STAFF BEFORE ARRIVAL.

UPDATE – 17th December 2020

We are taking extra COVIDSafe measures in light of the recent Northern Beaches outbreak.
With our non contact protocols, our hospital has been granted COVIDSafe status by the NSW Government and our team are doing their upmost to keep your visit safe as well as enjoyable for you and your fur family.
Until further notice we will not be allowing members of the public into our Newport and Avalon hospitals. On arrival at the practice please call our friendly team from your car who will arrange non contact transfer of your pet into the hospital.
For all vet visits please make an appointment online via our website :
If you feel unwell, are awaiting a Covid-19 test result or have been advised to self isolate please do not visit our vet hospital. Please call our team who can arrange a telemedicine consultation via zoom or have a friend bring your pet in to see us.

COVID-19

Sydney Animal Hospitals would like to let you know that we are here for you and your pets. We are available as usual to keep your pets happy and healthy.

In response to recommended guidelines on social distancing Sydney Animal Hospitals has a non-contact protocol in place. When you arrive at your local Sydney Animal Hospital we will give you instructions on the procedure. We appreciate your help and co-operation at this time.

 

While we always have rigorous hygiene in our hospitals, we have implemented additional, precautionary measures to protect our pet owners and staff from COVID-19, by providing hand sanitizer at the entrance of all our hospitals, frequent disinfecting of all door handles, chairs and bench tops of all our waiting room and consulting rooms. All areas in public contact are disinfected continuously.

 

Please know that we are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation and that we will follow the advice and recommendations from expert health organisations and act accordingly.

The Government announced strong social distancing guidelines on the 29th March 2020. Sydney Animal Hospitals complies with these, enabling clients to access veterinary services.

The Government has also recently declared veterinary services as an essential service and indicated that we should continue to operate during the COVID19 crisis.

All services for your pet are now by appointment click here to make a booking.

If you require medications, parasite control, pet nutrition, pet food or any other over the counter service please come to your hospital during opening hours. We will ask that you do not enter the building and simply follow the instructions given on your arrival.
