Dr Christopher Sun BVSc MPhil MRCVS graduated from The University of Sydney in 2010 and achieved a Masters of Philosophy by thesis from the University of Queensland in Epidemiology in 2016.
Christopher initially spent four years working with horses and other large and small animals in Melbourne, Perth, Macau, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. After returning to Sydney, he worked for the RSPCA before starting up a small animal practice on the North Shore which I managed for two years. Christopher joined the Sydney Animal Hospitals family in mid-2017 as the Superintendent at SAH Norwest. His main passion is animal behaviour with a particular interest in early social interactions and behavioural problems in anxious dogs and cats. Christopher is preparing to undertake the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists Membership examinations in the next few years. He also has an interest in oncology, medicine and surgery and is continually improving his knowledge through several Continuing Professional Development courses at The University of Sydney.
Away from work, Christopher enjoys keeping active with hiking around Sydney as well as spending time with his family and Larry the cat- who acts as his alarm clock, waking Christopher up every morning at 6 am without fail.
