Dr Helen Wong BVSc graduated from The University of Sydney in 2011. She has been working in an Inner west clinic since she graduated and joined the Sydney Animal Hospital Norwest team in 2014.
Helen enjoys all areas of veterinary practice, in particularly small animal surgery and dentistry. She has been challenging herself and expanding her experience in emergency medicine at our local after-hours hospital. Apart from our regular canine and feline patients, Helen also enjoys working with fluffy exotics patients (guinea pigs and rabbits) and also feathery avian patients (chickens, lorikeets and parrots). Helen also likes taking care of our Australian native wildlife after working closely with wildlife rescue organisations at her previous clinic.
Helen has two geriatric guinea pigs that enjoy nothing but waddling back and forth from their bed and food, eating and sleeping on their veggie bed all day, as well as a cockatiel called Tequila who likes demanding her attention for head scratches whenever he can.
