Dr Sam Haynes

Practice Owner and Veterinarian

Dr Sam Haynes BSc BVMS GCM(VP) is the proprietor and founder of the Sydney Animal Hospitals group .

Sam grew up in WA and gained his degrees at Murdoch University. Prior to establishing Sydney Animal Hospitals, Sam was a Flying Vet in the Kimberley and also had a period working in the pig, dairy and goat breeding industries in South Australia. Sam is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) and held various committee and board roles in the past, including as President of the NSW AVA Division in 1997.

For the last 10 years Sam has been a Board member for Assistance Dogs Australia, a charity that provides assistance dogs to those with various disabilities, including physical, PTSD, autism and Alzheimer’s. Sam is proud to acknowledge that the Sydney Animal Hospitals logo shows his first two animals together and that it is a reminder of the bond all of us have with our companion animals.
